The scenic beauty of Backwaters at Tarkarli is beyond imagination. Beautiful Virgin beaches surrounded by lush green trees, fresh cool breeze flowing around you every second makes you forget all your worries and have a time of your life.

Backwaters of the Karli river between Tarkarli and Kudal, the only backwaters in Maharashtra is the star attraction of a Kerala vacation right here in Maharashtra. In 2003 M.T.D.C launched the houseboats similar to the Kerala houseboats adding a golden feather to Tarkarli Tourism. A houseboat ride down the Karli river is now one of the unique attractions Tarkarli has to offer its patrons now!

Tarkarli has now started houseboats where guests can enjoy Kerala style overnight houseboat in backwaters of the area.
You can hire a boat to cruise down the backwaters of the Karli River from Deobaug. As the boat starts, palms sway on both sides, and the river snakes far into the horizon.

There are two houseboats:
HIRANYAKESHI (A/C LUXURY HOUSEBOAT) - 2 Room self-contained (each room 2 adults)
KARLI (A/C STANDARD HOUSEBOAT) - 2 Room self-contained (each room 2 adults)

Stay includes:
Welcome drink, breakfast, lunch snacks, with evening tea and dinner Vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus for dinner, lunch and breakfast
Two bottles of mineral water provided in each room
Parents can bring children below 5 years free of charge
